You connect by signing in to SerpResult; there is no API key to paste. Until it's listed, ChatGPT's developer mode can add the MCP server directly.

FAQ
Questions about ChatGPT
Does it cost credits?
Each search costs 1 credit from your SerpResult account; a cached result still costs 1 credit. Bulk Search costs 1 credit per query.
Which engines and countries can I search?
The same as the API: Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, Brave and Yandex, localized to any of 193 countries. ChatGPT picks the engine and the two-letter country code on each search, and an engine that finds nothing returns an empty list, not an error.
Can I use SerpResult in ChatGPT before it is listed?
Yes. Add https://api.serpresult.com/mcp as a custom MCP server, sign in to SerpResult and approve. The listing points at the same server.
Where are the output fields documented?
The ChatGPT page in the docs lists every operation, input and output field, plus the error codes: https://docs.serpresult.com/integrations/chatgpt/
